From the bestselling author and former head of MI5.

In Northern Ireland The Troubles are over. For Liz Carlyle they are just beginning.

MI5 intelligence officer Liz Carlyle has just been despatched to Northern Ireland. In Belfast, Liz and her team are monitoring the brutal breakaway Republican groups who never accepted the peace process and want to continue their 'war'. Intelligence is focused on the shady Fraternity, with links to drug-running, arms-dealing and organised crime. It is a perilous group to become involved with. Especially if your informant turns tail...

About the Narrator

Maggie Mash trained as an actress and worked in the professional theatre before starting her broadcasting career in Forces Radio. Later branching into voice-over work, Maggie now records audio books and provides the voice for such things as airlines' in-flight videos and the national mental arithmetic SATS tests. Her voice is perhaps best known for the years in which she was continuity announcer at Yorkshire Television.

Maggie has a gift for languages and is fluent in French, Italian, Spanish and Greek. She has narrated a number of titles for us, including Tell It To The Skies by Erica James. Her experience provides her voice with an authenticity when narrating a novel that can bring to life male and female characters of all ages and backgrounds.
